Where can I submit my bid to participate in the construction of 2922 Crenshaw?

What currently exists on the site today?

The project will replace an underutilized asphalt surface parking lot. 

What is the timeline for this project?

Construction is anticipated to begin in March 2021 and is slated for completion in Q4 2022.

Will the construction be loud and dusty at all hours?

Per the Los Angeles Municipal Code construction noise ordinance, construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Measures will be taken to reduce noise levels to a minimum and soil will be dampened prior to and during excavation to minimize dust.

What are your plans for parking?

The project is designed to provide 326 parking stalls for tenants and visitors, which is 146 stalls in excess of the code requirement.

What are the project benefits for my neighborhood and the city?

The project will replace a large, underutilized surface parking lot with approximately 87,000 square feet of office space, which will bring increased employment opportunities to the neighborhood, along with ground floor retail. CIM selected a local design architect who will elevate the streetscape and beautify Crenshaw Boulevard with trees and a new sidewalk, enhancing the walkability of this transit-friendly location. Additionally, the project will create a central landscaped courtyard, which will be accessible to the public during business hours.

Vertical development is in progress!

Construction of the foundation and basement is complete and vertical development is in progress.  The concrete structure of the office building has been erected up to the second floor slab.

The development for 2922 Crenshaw has started!

The development for 2922 Crenshaw started earlier this year and has a target delivery date of Q4 2022. As of April 2021, the project’s demolition and shoring activities have been completed and excavation of the site is in progress.
